About Motoscape The Motoscape Rally has been running since 2006 and has been described as "the best week of my life", "what an enjoyble adventure, one of the best things I've ever done, it was such a great laugh" and "first class organisation from the event organisers, good choice of hotels too!" and that basically sums up what we are trying to achieve from the rally.

We want each participant to have an incredible time, and see that a weeks holiday doesn't have to include lying on a sunbed in Benidorm! It can be active, exciting and totally different.

The banger rally concept is getting popular nowadays, but unlike other banger rallies we don’t believe in driving, driving and then more driving before arriving at your destination, going to bed and then getting up for the next day. Our routes take in around 5-6 hours driving per day, leaving you time to see some of the great places we take you to and allowing you time to visit places we have highlighted which are on route.

The concept of the Motoscape Rally is to buy a car for £250 or less or take one that is over 20 years old, turn it into a wacky, eye-catching masterpiece and drive it through some of the greatest roads in Europe. It's not just a driving holiday though, it's a great chance to meet lot's of new people, and raise some money for charity!

The Motoscape Rally is open to all ages, male or female, all you need is:

A current UK driving license
A banger of DISTINCTION (costing less than £250 or over 20 years old!)
A few shillings for a few beers along the way
A sense of humour
A compass or a map
A sense of adventure
A willingness to "DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS YEAR"
A mate or two (male or female)

There's 2 Rally Routes:
Roll on Rimini - 4 September ‘10 - 5 Countries in 5 Days
Push on to Prague - 4 September ‘10 - 7 Countries in 7 Days

Entrance Fees:
£179 per team (for 2 members) + £35 per additional team member.

Deposit:
Places are strictly limited, therefore the deposit (£99) must be paid immediately to ensure your place on the rally is guaranteed.

Your entrance fee includes:

An exclusive limited edition fleece with the motoscape logo (ideal for the top of the stelvio pass)
Fantastic tips and guidence on everything from motoring laws in each country to the best places to visit en route
Final night banquet in a great venue in Prague or Rimini
Full and comprehensive pack with lots of tips for the rally
Mobile numbers of the organisers for any issues en route
A promise ... This is the motoring trip of a lifetime!!!

The Prizes:
If you want to win the money then you have to finish top of the Motoscape Challenges Points Leaderboard. Don't forget, you can get a £100 prize by snagging the best car design.

First place = £700
Daily Challenge Prizes = £100 per day
Best decorated car = £100

Accommodation:

BOOK YOUR OWN ACCOMMODATION
If you want to book your own accomodation, that's fine! Just let us know on the registration form. However, if you want the full Motoscape experience, we recommend that you leave the accommodation to us (see below).

LET MOTOSCAPE BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION
When you’ve got your car to buy, carry out any repairs needed and then come up with some fantabulous design for it, the last thing you want to worry about is booking a different hotel for every night of the trip. Unlike some other rallies, we can book all your accommodation for you. We negotiate excellent rates in 3* plus accommodation. This means that your trip runs smoothly and you end up socialising with the other teams a lot more. See below for approximate accommodation pricing.

Both routes – approx £35 - £40 per person per night. The price shown is per person on a bed and breakfast basis.

There are a limited number of hotel packages and these are available on a first come first served basis.

Who can take part in the rally:
Male or female aged 17 to 80 (must have a current driving license) although parents wishing to take young adults should email for guidance - contact@motoscape-rally.co.uk.

Do it for Charity:
We really encourage taking part for a great charity. You can take part in the rally for the charity of your choice, build up sponsorship and even donate your prize money (if you finish in top 2 of course) to your charity too!
