The Motoscape Rally has been running since 2006 and every year the entrants have always had an incredible time. We want each participant to have an incredible time, and see that a week's holiday doesn't have to include lying on a sunbed in Benidorm! It can be active, exciting and totally different.
The banger rally concept is becoming ever more popular, but unlike other banger rallies we don’t believe in driving, driving and then more driving before arriving at your destination, going to bed and then getting up for the next day of even more driving. Our routes take approx 5-6 hours driving per day (some days even less), leaving you time to see some of the great places we take you to and allowing you time to visit places we have highlighted en-route.
The concept of the Motoscape Rally is to buy a car for £333 or less, turn it into a wacky, eye-catching masterpiece and drive it through some of the greatest roads in Europe. Alternatively use a classic car that’s 20 years or older. It's not just a driving holiday though, it's a great chance to meet lots of new people, raise some money for charity or just have the experience of a lifetime!
The Motoscape Rally is open to all ages, male or female, all you need is:
- A banger of DISTINCTION (costing less than £333 or a classic car over 20 years old!)
- A current UK driving license (you must be 18 years old to drive in Europe)
- A few shillings for a few beers along the way
- A sense of humour
- A compass, map and / or a sat nav with eastern Europe downloaded
- A sense of adventure
- A willingness to "DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS YEAR"
- A mate or two (male or female), or just come on your own
- A passport!!

"ROAD TRIP to Venice" - 7th September 2013 - 7 Countries in 5 Days
"ROAD TRIP to Prague" - 7th September 2013 - 10 Countries in 7 Days

Entrance Fees:
£225 for a team of 2 people, + £55 extra for each additional person.
Deposit:
Places are strictly limited and are offered on a first come first served basis, and a deposit of £200 confirms your place on the rally and secures your place for the rally accommodation (see further down the page for accommodation information).
Your entrance fee includes:
- An exclusive limited edition hoody with the Motoscape logo for every member of your team (ideal for the top of the Stelvio pass)
- Other exclusive Motoscape freebies (you'll have to wait till the rally to find out what these are!)
- Fantastic tips and guidance on everything from motoring laws in each country to the best places to visit en-route
- Final night banquet in a great venue
- Full and comprehensive pack with lots of tips for the rally
- Mobile numbers of the organisers for any issues-en route
- A promise ... This is the motoring trip of a lifetime!!!
The Prizes:
If you want to win the money then you have to accumulate the most points during the daily challenges and climb to the top of the leader board at the end of the rally. Don't forget, you can get a £100 prize by snagging the best car design.
First Place = £800
Second Place = £300
Third Place = £100
Daily Challenge Prizes = £50 per day per rally :: Best decorated car = £100
Accommodation:
LET MOTOSCAPE BOOK YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Once you've bought your car, carried out any repairs needed and then come up with a fantabulous design for it, the last thing you want to worry about is booking a different hotel for every night of the trip! So you don't need to worry! Unlike some other rallies, we book all your accommodation for you. We negotiate excellent rates in accommodation with an average rating of 3*. This means that your trip runs smoothly and you end up socialising with the other teams during the evenings. All the morning briefings are held in the hotels.

Both routes – approx £40 - £45 per person per night. The price shown is per person on a bed and breakfast basis.
After completing registration for the rally, the deposit of £200 also secures your hotel space once you have registered for the rally.
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ IF YOU CONSIDERING ENTERING THE RALLY AS A TEAM OF 3 ENTRANTS: In some countries a 3 person room compromises of a single bed (this single bed is sometimes in the form of a guest or a foldout bed) and a large double bed with either a one piece or 2 piece mattress that can be separated in some instances (BUT NOT ALL). Teams not comfortable with this bed configuration can pay a single person supplement of approximately £65 per night, which will enable one member of the teams to have a single room and the remainder to have a standard double / twin. Who can take part in the rally:
Male or female aged 18 to 80 (must have a current driving license if you are planning to drive). The age range is between 10 years and 80 years and both male and female entrants are welcome.
Do it for Charity:
We really encourage taking part for a great charity. You can take part in the rally for the charity of your choice, build up sponsorship and even donate your prize money (if you finish in the top 3 or win any of the daily prizes) to your charity too!
