Make it a Charity Rally

A Charity rally full of charity adventures

Looking for some great fundraising ideas! There are all sorts of creative fundraising ideas out there, so why not do something completely new in 2024. You’re perhaps bored of sponsored walks and tired of coffee mornings, which are the usual kind of events that fundraisers take part in. Why not take part in the Motoscape Great European rally instead. Choose a local or National charity close to your heart and get sponsored to take part in an amazing banger rally challenge across Europe, like never before. Make your trip into a charity rally and one of the best charity adventures ever!

Start of the Motoscape Banger Rally road Trip around EuropeOur banger car rally really is one of the more fun, fundraising ideas and a great way to raise money for either your local charity, or one of the larger national charities. It’s entirely up to you which charity/charities you choose. Usually when someone asks for sponsorship, they’re doing some kind of run or walk etc., which is great, but when you tell people you’re taking part in a great European rally and that you’ll be taking part in a clapped out old banger or a classic car, the response is normally very positive. Although it’s not compulsory to take part for charity, it’s great to see that well over half of those taking part make it a charity rally, raising money for some great causes in the process.

You can get sponsorship for your European rally 2024 in the good old fashioned way, by just asking friends, family etc. Alternatively you could use your banger to it’s full potential. Get businesses to sponsor you in return for you putting their company name and website on your car. Lot’s of people will see it on this epic journey so it’s fantastic publicity for the companies sponsoring you! Alternatively go back to basics, start with a blank car (preferably white or silver) and ask people to sign their name, or write cryptic messages in marker pen on the car, in exchange for a generous donation!! It’s that easy!!

The Motoscape challenge is to buy a car for up to £999, or you can bring along a classic car (any car which is around 20 years old), or even your daily run around regardless of age. Find a friend or two and join us for some amazing adventures. Don’t forget to customise your car (not compulsory as you certainly don’t want to decorate a classic car) and obtain sponsorship for your own local charity. Starting in France, we will travel through the most amazing scenery, cross over spectacular bridges, round magnificent lakes, negotiate breath-taking mountain passes and much more!

Along the way you will complete a few challenges to accumulate points. If at the end of our banger rally, you are in one of the top three positions, you can claim your prize, or allow us to donate the cash to the charity of your choice.

So what are you waiting for:

Come and join the Motoscape banger / classic car rally 2024 and make your event a charity rally adventure to remember?

Although we do encourage taking part for charity, it is not essential. Registrants are more than welcome to just come and enjoy the Motoscape banger rally events in 2024.

On the 2015 Motoscape Banger Rally two teams from Minster Radio in York, competed in the rally on behalf of Candlelighters, a children’s cancer charity. In the process they raised over £13,000, a fantastic effort! See here what happened on their road trip around Europe.

On the 2014 Motoscape Banger Rally, Team JAGtechnic raised over £14,000 for St.Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne, take a look at the video the team made of their experience on our Great European rally:
